Gucci’s ongoing partnership with Dover Street Market continues with the new Epilogue Collection of special pieces. The items for men and women come in limited edition numbers and feature a dedicated signature tag in red and black, identifying them as part of this exclusive collection.
The new collection focuses on colour, pattern and embroidery and features the House motif of the tiger, and also references to Disney’s Donald Duck. There are also floral designs by the late American fashion designer George Kenneth Scott. Floral patterns and coloured stripes are mixed playfully with the animal images and an interlocking G design throughout the collection.

The selection for women features a long flared cape-like hooded coat in a curry orange with a multicolour double GG pied-de-poule pattern on the interior and a tiger embroidery on the front. There is an ivory wool rainbow pinstripe single-breasted jacket, and matching flared trousers. A camel long silk dress features an exclusive pink floral print by George Kenneth Scott. and has a guru neck, long puff sleeve and a detachable belt, as well as an external embroidered label (identifying the print as by “George Kenneth Scott”. A black single-breasted coat is printed with a plum and orange floral pattern, also an exclusive by George Kenneth Scott, on cotton drill, and displays an external embroidered label, again namechecking “George Kenneth Scott”. A long belted linen dress is printed in bold coloured horizontal stripes and has a shirt collar and long puff sleeves. A brown/ivory wool high-neck long-sleeve knit top has sequin embroideries and printed silk details; it features patterns on the front and a tiger’s head on the back. Finally, a violet printed viscose long skirt features contrast white lace insert details.
Men’s styles include a techno satin reversible blouson with red and white striped cuffs and hem, and patch details. Worn one way round it is white and has a large tiger on the back; worn the other way it is yellow with an interlocking G on the left breast. A lemon zest padded crinkle-nylon zipped jacket with technical jersey detachable sleeves has a Donald Duck embroidery on the left breast and an interlocking G patch on the centre back at the neck. A bright multicolour striped mohair crew neck has a Donald Duck patch on the left breast and an external Gucci label on the centre back at the neck.
